Hi, I saw your posts at wetcanvas so thought I would check out your blog. Iike your work very much you seem to paint a real variety of subjects and styles, I like that in an artist. It seems so many artists seem to get stuck and think that a definate style and subject stream is the way to go, I'm not sure I like to see experimentation. I will be back to see more. Nice work!
I am a self-taught Watercolor Artist. Watercolor really is my world. I love to paint! I discovered I had artistic talent late in life, but I hope to pursue my art for the rest of my life! It brings me so much joy! If I really like the subject, I'll try it..even if it is a challenge. I like subjects that tell a story (experience, memory, dream, or impression), either mine or someone's else, that is worth repeating or translating to paper. Interesting colors, shapes and textures usually draw me to a particular subject. Also the mood, the emotions that the subject seems to inspire in me, that I hope to translate to my work. Without putting your "heart", your "signature" into your work, you just have another painting. I hope you enjoy my work! Thank you for stopping by!
